There are 3 core concepts in our design.
circle
Balance / Harmony / Journey
The circle symbolizes the ongoing journey through grief - and the attempt to build balance and harmony in our lives again.
kintsukuroi
Courage / Healing / Restoration
A Japanese method for repairing pottery with gold or silver. The philosophy recognizes the history and visibly incorporates the repair into the new piece instead of disguising it. The piece becomes more beautiful for having been broken.
koru
New life / Hope / Growth
Maori symbol of the native fern. The unfurling frond is symbolic for new life, hope, perfection, rebirth, a new start, awakening, personal growth, purity, nurturing, a new phase in life, the spirit of rejuvenation and peace.
